About this Role
The Clubfoot Project Manager mentors local clinicians in the Ponseti method of correcting clubfoot and coordinates the set-up of a locally run, sustainable Ponseti Clinic. This position is also responsible for overseeing and coordinating the management (pre and post-op) of older clubfeet patients who are part of the orthopedic surgery program.

What You Will Contribute
• Effectively treat and coordinate the management of children with clubfeet (0-15 years of age)
• Effectively run a Ponseti clubfoot clinic on a day to day basis
• Mentor local clinicians in the Ponseti method of correcting clubfoot and ensure excellent patient outcomes
• Coordinate the set-up of a locally run, sustainable Ponseti clinic
• Monitor and evaluate progress towards project objectives, submitting reports in a timely manner and modifying activities as needed to achieve targets, and provide research and advice for up-to-date sound methods of best practice in all aspects of the Ponseti method
For This Role, You Will Need
• Successful completion of Mercy Ships On Boarding program
• Current/active Registered Physical Therapist license in home country
• Completed Ponseti specific training with a recognized individual or organization
• Treated a minimum of 25-30 clubfeet and has at least 1-2 years’ experience with treating clubfeet
• PIA Ponseti Provider accreditation or ACT Train The Trainer accreditation (or must be working towards one of these)
• French language skills will be beneficial
